Volunteers will play a key role in the organisation of UEFA EURO 2020; don't miss your chance to be part of the EURO for Europe.

For this special edition of the tournament – not just because it is spread around 12 host cities, but also it has already become historic with the postponement for 2021, however keeping its name as EURO 2020 – UEFA aims to implement a high-quality and memorable volunteer programme across all venues.

 

As usual, volunteers will support the delivery of the event's wide-ranging projects, including accreditation, ceremonies, transport, media, ticketing, match operations and spectator services.

 

The objective of the UEFA EURO 2020 volunteer programme is to integrate and gather the population across Europe, as well as creating a legacy for the host countries. Furthermore, it is UEFA's ambition to ensure individuals enjoy an unforgettable experience that encourages others to volunteer for European football events in future.

 

With the tournament to be held for the first time in 12 different countries, UEFA EURO 2020 will definitely feature the most diverse volunteer programme ever, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the thousands of people involved.

                         

The volunteer programme will be implemented by 12 local organising structures (LOS), locally responsible for the recruitment, training and management of volunteers during the events.

The new date of EURO 2020: 11th  June 2021 – 11th  July 2021. Match days in Budapest: 15th, 19th, 23rd and 27th June 2021.


Join us if...

  • your level of English is at least beginner or mid-intermediate,

  • you are over 18 years of age by 1st May 2021,

  • you are able to attend to the trainings before the tournament,

  • you are available on each matchday, which is the minimum required number of days to vounteer.

No financial benefits will be offered to volunteers, however we can ensure an outstanding event management and organization skills experience in the heart of the organization of EURO 2020. Volunteers will receive accreditation, uniform, meals according to their shifts, free public transport and a diploma at the end of the event, moreover a final party with small gifts. All creating unique memories for a lifetime.

I was selected last year as a volunteer for UEFA EURO 2020. What happens now with my application?

All volunteers initially confirmed in January 2020 will be offered the chance to remain part of the team in 2021. Volunteers will be contacted directly by their respective local organising structure (LOS) to re-confirm their availability for summer 2021 and their willingness to participate.

In the meantime, we would like to ask for your full understanding and support. We are counting on you, your enthusiasm and positive impact on the tournament while also asking that you take all measures recommended by the public authorities to ensure your safety and well-being.
